**Update on exam short essays: 

There will be 4 short essay questions on the exam. You will have to write two; one from each category 

Category 1
  • Compare the authoritarian regimes of Italy, Germany and Japan in the years preceding WWII.
  • Compare the ideologies that were used to justify the slaughter of civilians at Treblinka and during the Rape of Nanking.
      Category 2 
  • Explain Britain's use of the appeasement policy and how it failed.
  • Compare the leadership of three countries involved in WWII, including at least one from each alliance. (Britain, US, Russia - German, Italy, Japan)

Remember that each day this week you should be prepared with two things: a) bring at least one page of review on one of the major topics of the course, and b) be prepared to take a MC quiz. This week I will start mixing in questions from the major topics listed below for the purpose of review.

Welcome back from Spring Break. I hope everyone feels rested and rejuvenated. We are about to begin our final push toward the AP exam. As of Sunday, we have 32 days to go. We will discuss our plans for completing the 20th century and exam review on Tuesday.
